Staff very good
Nice friendly staff
Everybody was understanding. Very helpful.
Waiting time is always an issue but it can't be helped.
Woman at the front desk was very quick and easy.
If they could give an estimated time until you would be seen.
Total dedication, friendly and helpfull. I am sure the food starts out fine. Not much you can do about it but by the time its here it has of course suffered the time of travel
Everything nurses was very good, in fact great. Could do with more of the same (how about it) don`t let money spoil it
I stayed on SAU for five days, and I cannot believe what the nurses have to do. The actual job they do, and duties they carry out are nothing like I thought they would be. The care and attention to detail, the selflessness to which they apply to job is a credit to the hospital, and their profession. I think I saw the grimmest of the grim, and in the face of this they acted truly professional and it did not deter them from being true caring professionals. On many occassions, over a 10-13 hour shift, i noted that several staff did not get a break!!!!
Whilst at the A&E dept, service was brilliant. Good communication, lovely people and smiling faces. Could do with a bigger children's waiting room, and maybe a sign stating at busy times, only 1 parent to be in children's waiting room at a time.
While I was there I witnessed a dad, mum and gran with a poorly little girl, taking up 4 seats, other people had to stand, a member of staff came in to ask others to wait in other waiting room, but I feel the staff are busy enough without having to point out the obvious to some people.
Lovely service, well done guys and gals x
I have a lot of experience as user/family member of user of this hospital over the last 28 years. Generally care is very good indeed although there is room for improvement in efficiency, particularly in A & E. Recent changes to the car park have made it much easier for visitors and patients to get a parking space - it used to be a nightmare!
